Built for AI workloads and high-refresh gaming

This desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. The 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides fast storage for large datasets and game libraries. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and ready for professional use.

Liquid-cooled chassis with extensive front I/O

A 240mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while two 140mm PWM fans move air through the tempered-glass front panel. The front panel offers one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports and dual audio jacks. Internal bays include two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch slots for future storage expansion.

PCIe 4.0 storage ceiling and 850W power budget

The 1TB SSD reaches sequential reads of 7450 MB/s and writes of 6900 MB/s on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, so faster PCIe 5.0 drives will not exceed this throughput. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU caps total system draw, limiting headroom for significantly higher-wattage GPUs or heavy overclocking.

Questions about this item

What PCI Express generation does the X870 motherboard provide to the RTX 5070 Ti and how does that cap GPU bandwidth?

The board runs the graphics slot at PCI Express 4.0 x16, so the RTX 5070 Ti is limited to 4.0 speeds rather than the 5.0 ceiling the GPU supports.

What are the case dimensions and drive-bay layout for fitting this system?

The chassis measures 447 mm deep, 215 mm wide and 469 mm high, with two internal 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays behind the front panel.

How is Windows 11 Pro activated on a custom build like this, and what step do people skip?

The OS arrives pre-installed and pre-activated; the step often missed is connecting to the internet on first boot so the digital licence binds to the motherboard.
