Built for gaming and media work

This desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a four-terabyte NVMe drive provide capacity for large projects and modern titles. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Sustained load behaviour

A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable during extended sessions. The 850 watt power supply with Japanese main capacitors delivers consistent power without throttling. The motherboard offers four M.2 slots for future storage expansion.

Thermals, noise and power

The CoolerMaster HAF 500 case uses two 200 mm front fans and a 140 mm power-supply fan for high airflow at low noise. Liquid cooling reduces CPU temperature under load. The bronze-rated PSU maintains efficiency during typical gaming or rendering workloads.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 240 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan when the Ryzen 7 9800X3D runs at 4.7 GHz all day?

The CPU uses a 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the 850 W PSU has a 140 mm fan rated for low noise, so sustained loads stay quiet in the HAF 500 case.

Which display cables must I already own for the Radeon RX 9070 XT?

The GPU connects via PCI Express x16 and uses standard DisplayPort or HDMI outputs, so have the matching cable for your monitor ready.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs or hard drives alongside the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO?

Yes, the X870 motherboard provides four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case has two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays for extra drives.
