Gaming desktop with Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080

This new tower system pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and 8 TB of NVMe storage across two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives. A 240 mm liquid cooler and a 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply support the high-performance components. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited to 4K gaming and heavy workloads.

The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides four memory slots supporting up to 192 GB and four M.2 connectors for further expansion. Connectivity includes USB4 ports at 40 Gbps, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7. The Antec P20 mid-tower case measures 469 x 220 x 490 mm and includes three 120 mm front fans plus dust filters. Buyers needing a smaller chassis or a system without liquid cooling should consider other form factors.

8 TB NVMe storage from dual Samsung 990 PRO drives

Two PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs deliver sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, providing ample capacity for large game libraries and media projects. The platform supports additional M.2 drives if more space is required later.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 240 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan under sustained load?

The CPU uses a 240 mm quiet-edition AIO and the 1200 W PSU has a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, so noise stays low even during long gaming sessions.

Does the motherboard provide enough USB ports for my existing keyboard, mouse, headset and two external drives without a hub?

The PRIME X870-P rear panel gives two USB4 40 Gbps Type-C, one USB 10 Gbps, three USB 5 Gbps and four USB 2.0 ports, covering all those devices simultaneously.

Can my older SATA SSDs and hard drives be installed alongside the two 4 TB NVMe drives?

Yes, the motherboard includes two SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the Antec P20 case has two 3.5"/2.5" internal bays for legacy drives.
