Built for high-thread workloads

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a twelve-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and an RTX 5060 graphics card. It targets creators and engineers who need strong multi-threaded throughput alongside hardware-accelerated rendering. The 4 TB NVMe drive and 10 TB hard drive give fast project space plus deep archival capacity in one chassis.

Straightforward component access

The mid-tower case opens without tools so memory, storage or the graphics card can be swapped in minutes. Four DDR5 slots are present with two already populated, allowing simple capacity upgrades later. Liquid cooling tubing is pre-routed; the only common issue is forgetting to reconnect the pump header after a motherboard swap, which leaves the CPU without active cooling.

PCIe 4.0 storage ceiling

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, so sequential reads top out near 7 450 MB/s and writes near 6 900 MB/s. Workloads that demand PCIe 5.0 speeds will not benefit from this drive interface. Rear I/O includes USB4 ports at 40 Gbps and 2.5 Gb Ethernet, while Wi-Fi 7 handles wireless traffic.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 240mm liquid cooler is running after assembly?

Check the motherboard BIOS for pump RPM and CPU temperature at idle; the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D should sit well below its 5.50 GHz boost limit with the 240mm AIO active.

Which cables or accessories are not included in the CoolerMaster HAF 500 box?

The case provides front USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and audio ports; monitor cables, additional ARGB controllers or extra 200mm fans must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 4TB Samsung 990 PRO or the 10TB HDD for the primary OS drive?

Use the 4TB PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe SSD (7450 MB/s read, 6900 MB/s write) for Windows 11 Pro and applications; the 10TB HDD with 256MB cache suits bulk storage.
