System identity

This desktop combines a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor, 32GB DDR5 memory, a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card inside a CoolerMaster HAF 500 case with a 240mm liquid cooler and an 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Interface limits

The Z890 motherboard provides one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, one USB 20Gbps Type-C port, three USB 10Gbps ports and three USB 5Gbps ports at the rear, plus a mid-board USB 20Gbps Type-C, a USB 5Gbps and two USB 2.0 headers. Networking uses Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 2x2 with Bluetooth 5.4. Storage expansion is limited to four SATA 6Gb/s ports and four M.2 connectors.

Deciding specification

The graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16GB video memory, which determines whether this system meets the performance target for 4K gaming or GPU-accelerated creative workloads. Buyers who need more video memory or a different GPU architecture should consider alternative configurations.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32GB DDR5 configuration or upgrade to the 192GB maximum?

The system ships with 32GB DDR5 across four slots. The Z890 motherboard supports up to 192GB total, so you can add modules later if workloads demand more capacity.

What does the 5.50 GHz CPU boost clock deliver in actual gaming?

The 20-core Core Ultra 7 265K reaches 5.50 GHz on thermal headroom, giving high single-thread frame rates while the liquid cooler sustains multi-core loads during streaming or encoding.

How fast is the PCIe 4.0 x4 link for the Samsung 990 PRO SSD?

The M.2 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4, letting the 2TB 990 PRO hit sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s in Windows 11 Pro.
