Purpose-built workstation

This system pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 192GB DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GPU. The combination targets professionals who need high single-thread speed and large memory capacity for rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads, while still providing solid gaming performance.

Thermals, noise and power

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU, while the Cooler Master HAF 500 case supplies two 200mm front fans, a 120mm rear fan and a dedicated 120mm GPU fan for airflow. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit with a 140mm fan delivers power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection.

Build, connectors and daily use

The tower chassis measures 508 x 203 x 508 mm and offers internal bays for two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. Rear I/O includes one USB Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports, plus front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and audio. The Gigabyte Z790 AORUS motherboard adds six SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID support, four M.2 slots and Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step do builders often miss?

The 360 mm radiator fits the top or front of the CoolerMaster HAF 500 case using the included brackets; the step people forget is orienting the tubes at the bottom of the radiator so air cannot collect in the pump block.

What maintenance will the 192 GB DDR5 memory and the 360 mm AIO need later?

The DDR5 modules require no routine service; the AIO is a sealed unit, so only dust the radiator fins and case fans every few months — no coolant refill is possible.

What limit appears first when the i9-14900K runs at 6.00 GHz on all 24 cores under sustained load?

The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU reaches its continuous power rating before the 360 mm radiator saturates, so the system power limit is the first ceiling.
