Built for professional CAD and simulation workloads

This business desktop ships with a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor, 32GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU with 32GB of VRAM. The combination targets engineers and designers who need certified drivers and large frame buffers for SolidWorks, CAM and CAE applications. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 2TB NVMe boot drive with a 10TB HDD for project archives.

GPU memory capacity drives model choice

The RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell provides 32GB of video memory, which determines whether full assemblies and high-resolution textures stay resident on the card. Buyers who need more VRAM for larger datasets or multi-GPU rendering should look at higher-tier professional cards because this configuration cannot be upgraded beyond the factory-installed GPU.

Liquid cooling sustains 24-core performance

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler keeps the i9-14900K at stable clocks during extended compiles, simulations or render queues. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers continuous power without throttling, while the Z790 TUF motherboard maintains VRM temperatures under sustained all-core loads.

Questions about this item

What does the i9-14900K's 6.00 GHz boost clock mean for real workloads?

The 24-core CPU can hit 6.00 GHz on thermal headroom, so single-thread CAD tasks and simulation solves run at peak frequency while the 360 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures controlled.

How fast is the PCIe 4.0 x4 link on the Samsung 990 PRO SSD?

The M.2 slot is wired for PCIe 4.0 x4, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s, which is the drive's rated ceiling.

Will the 360 mm radiator fit in the Corsair 4000D case?

Yes, the 4000D chassis supports a 360 mm radiator in the front or top, and the build already includes the matching AIO cooler installed.
