Purpose-built workstation

The Adamant Custom business desktop is a tower system assembled for professional CAD, CAM and CAE modelling. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 360 mm liquid cooler.

Deciding specification

The Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics card carries 16 GB of video memory and is the component that determines whether the system meets certified-application requirements. Buyers who need a different GPU class should choose another configuration.

Who this suits

Engineers and designers running SolidWorks or similar ISV-certified workloads gain 32 GB of DDR5 memory, 8 TB of NVMe storage and a 10 TB hard drive in a single chassis. The build is not for buyers who want more storage bays, a smaller form factor or a consumer-grade graphics card.

Questions about this item

What does the 24-core i9-14900K actually deliver inside this tower?

The 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K runs at a 3.2 GHz base frequency and can boost up to 6.00 GHz with 36 MB of L3 cache, giving 32 threads for heavy CAD, CAM and CAE workloads.

How fast can the two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives move data over their PCIe 4.0x4 link?

Each M.2 SSD is rated for sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, so the pair provides 8 TB of high-speed NVMe storage on the Z790 motherboard.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell card both fit in the Antec P20 case?

Yes. The mid-tower measures 469 x 220 x 490 mm, supports E-ATX motherboards, and includes 3 x 120 mm front fans plus a 140 mm PSU fan, leaving room for the 360 mm AIO radiator and a full-length graphics card.
