24-Core i9-14900K Workstation Desktop

This gaming desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. A 4TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive provide capacity for large project files and game libraries. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and uses a 360mm liquid cooler on the CPU.

Creative professionals needing multi-threaded CPU

The 24 cores and 32 threads suit video editing, 3D rendering and AI workloads that scale across many threads. Buyers who only play games at 1080p or 1440p will not use the extra compute and should consider a system built around a lower-core-count processor.

192 GB maximum DDR5 capacity

Four memory slots support up to 192 GB of DDR5, so the current 64 GB can be tripled without replacing modules. Users planning sustained heavy memory workloads should verify their application benefits from the headroom before committing.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler need in the Antec P20 mid-tower case?

The case measures 469 mm deep, 220 mm wide and 490 mm high, and the front panel accepts three 120mm fans, so a 360mm radiator fits in the front without interfering with the motherboard or GPU.

Which step is often missed when installing the Z790 TUF motherboard into this chassis?

Builders sometimes forget to screw in the motherboard standoffs that match the ATX mounting holes before lowering the board onto them.

When will the 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU likely need replacement?

The Thermaltake Smart unit uses Japanese main capacitors and a 140mm fan rated for long life; under typical gaming loads it should last several years before any degradation appears.
