24-core workstation for CAD and modelling

This business desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU carrying 24GB of video memory. 64GB of DDR5 system memory and 8TB of NVMe SSD storage support large assemblies and simulation data. The tower ships with Windows 11 Pro and liquid CPU cooling for sustained workloads.

Verify power, space and display connections

The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses a standard ATX connector; confirm your mains cable and outlet match local voltage. The mid-tower case measures 477 x 220 x 486 mm and includes sound-dampening panels, so check desk or rack clearance. The GPU provides professional display outputs; ensure your monitors use compatible cables.

Fits professional pipelines with room to expand

Four DDR5 slots allow memory upgrades up to 192GB, while three M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports accept additional NVMe or SATA drives. Front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A simplify peripheral attachment. Integrated Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle network and device links without extra cards.

Questions about this item

Does the system arrive with Windows 11 Pro already installed, or must I supply my own licence?

Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and activated on the 8 TB NVMe array, so the workstation is ready to use on first boot.

The listing shows two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives — should I keep them separate or combine them into one 8 TB volume?

They ship as two independent PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSDs; you can run them separately for OS and scratch space or stripe them in RAID 0 for a single 8 TB pool with up to 7 450 MB/s reads.

Will the 850 W bronze PSU sustain the i9-14900K at 6.00 GHz and the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24 GB under full load?

The 850 W Thermaltake Smart unit with Japanese main capacitors is rated for continuous delivery at 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency, matching the combined peak draw of the 24-core CPU and 24 GB GPU.
