Core configuration

This gaming desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive. A GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card with 8GB of video memory handles rendering, while a 360mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals inside a CoolerMaster HAF 500 tower case.

Bundled hardware impact

The Z790 AORUS motherboard adds Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity alongside 2.5Gb Ethernet and multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 ports. Four M.2 slots and six SATA ports remain open for storage expansion, and the 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection.

Ideal buyer and limits

Builders who want a liquid-cooled, 24-thread workstation with high-frequency DDR5 and fast PCIe 4.0 storage will find the platform ready for heavy multitasking and content creation. Buyers who need more than 8GB of GPU memory for large-model inference or 4K texture workloads should evaluate configurations with a larger frame buffer.

Questions about this item

Will the liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service?

The 360 mm AIO is a sealed loop with no user-serviceable parts and no refill interval.

What limit appears first when the 24-core CPU runs at 6.00 GHz all day?

The processor will hit its thermal ceiling and throttle before the 850 W PSU reaches its rated output.

How loud is the system when the GPU and CPU are both at full load?

The CoolerMaster HAF 500 case uses two 200 mm front fans, a 120 mm rear fan and a 140 mm PSU fan, all running at low RPM for quiet operation.
