24-Core i9-14900K Workstation

This system centres on a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K running at 3.2 GHz with a 360 mm liquid cooler. It pairs 128 GB of DDR5 memory with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB graphics card. The tower chassis runs Windows 11 Pro and targets creators who need high thread counts for rendering, modelling and AI workloads.

Storage Upgrade Path

Two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write over PCIe 4.0 x4, replacing slower SATA SSDs for active projects. A 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives. The motherboard offers four M.2 slots total, so two remain open for future expansion.

Platform Limits

The Z790 chipset caps memory at 192 GB across four DDR5 slots. The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply protects against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit events. Rear I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports alongside Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet.

Questions about this item

Will the 508 mm tall CoolerMaster HAF 500 case fit on my desk shelf?

The case stands 508 mm high, 203 mm wide and 508 mm deep, so measure your shelf clearance against those dimensions before ordering.

Does the 360 mm liquid cooler come pre-filled and mounted, or must I install it myself?

The 360 mm AIO arrives factory-sealed and already mounted on the Core i9-14900K; the only step some builders miss is connecting the pump header and ARGB cable to the Z790 AORUS motherboard.

How many 3.5-inch drives can I add later to the two internal bays?

The chassis provides two internal 3.5-inch bays; both are occupied by the 10 TB HDD, so adding more 3.5-inch storage requires removing that drive or using external enclosures.
