24-Core Workstation Desktop

This desktop combines a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It targets professionals who need high thread counts for rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads alongside gaming capability. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed on a 2TB NVMe SSD.

Sustained Load Thermal Behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU heat output during extended rendering or compute sessions. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply delivers stable current through over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Three 120mm front fans and a 140mm PSU fan move air through the tempered-glass mid-tower case.

PCIe 4.0 Storage And Connectivity Limits

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD operates at PCIe 4.0x4 speeds with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec. The Z790 motherboard provides four M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s ports for additional drives. Rear I/O includes 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 alongside multiple USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the i9-14900K during all-day rendering?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for low-noise operation while dissipating heat from the 24-core CPU; the 140 mm PSU fan also runs quietly under load.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need for the RTX 5090 to work?

The RTX 5090 uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; ensure your monitor has a matching input and a cable rated for the resolution and refresh rate you want.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 2.5-inch drives fit inside the Antec P20 case?

Yes — the case provides two internal 3.5"/2.5" bays and two dedicated 2.5" bays, plus four SATA 6 Gb/s ports on the Z790 motherboard.
