Workstation for SolidWorks and CAD

This business desktop combines a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU and 32GB of DDR5 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 1TB NVMe SSD plus a 10TB hard drive for project storage. The liquid-cooled tower is built for professional modelling, simulation and rendering workflows.

Upgrade from older multi-threaded workstations

The jump is worth it when your current system struggles with large assemblies or GPU-accelerated compute tasks. The 96GB graphics memory and 24 CPU cores handle heavier datasets than typical consumer cards or lower-core-count CPUs. Buyers who need more than 96GB of VRAM or more than 24 cores will not be served by this configuration.

Check power, space and memory headroom

The 1200W power supply and 360mm liquid cooler require a case that supports E-ATX motherboards and a 360mm radiator — the included Antec P20 measures 469 by 220 by 490 mm. Four DDR5 slots are present with 32GB installed and a 192GB maximum. Verify that your monitors use DisplayPort or HDMI compatible with the RTX PRO 6000 outputs.

Questions about this item

What case clearance and PSU capacity does the 360 mm liquid cooler and RTX PRO 6000 need?

The Antec P20 mid-tower measures 469 x 220 x 490 mm and includes a 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, providing room for the 360 mm radiator and the graphics card.

Which motherboard headers and case brackets are used to mount the 360 mm AIO, and what step is often missed?

Connect the pump to the CPU_FAN header, plug the three 120 mm radiator fans into SYS_FAN headers, and secure the LGA 1700 mounting bracket — many builders forget to remove the protective film from the cold plate before installation.

When will the 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO or the 10 TB HDD likely need replacement?

The 990 PRO is rated for 600 TBW and the 10 TB drive carries a 256 MB cache; both typically last several years under normal workloads, so plan a health check after 3–5 years of heavy use.
