Core Ultra 5 workstation with 192 GB DDR5

This desktop pairs a 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 245K processor running at 4.2 GHz with 192 GB of DDR5 memory across four slots. The Z890 motherboard and liquid CPU cooler create a platform aimed at content creation, heavy multitasking and AI-ready workloads. Buyers needing a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering or high-refresh gaming should look elsewhere.

Integrated graphics and high-speed storage

The system relies on the processor's integrated graphics with HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for display connectivity. A 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6900 MB/s, while a 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache provides bulk storage. Rear I/O includes Thunderbolt 4, 20 Gbps and 10 Gbps USB ports, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Check motherboard clearance and PSU headroom

The Corsair 4000D case measures 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high with tempered glass side panels. A 240 mm liquid cooler occupies the top mounting area, and the 750 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses Japanese main capacitors. Verify that any future graphics card fits within the case length and that the PSU cables reach your chosen components before ordering.

Questions about this item

What does the Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port on the rear I/O cap in practice?

The rear Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port delivers up to 40 Gbps bandwidth for displays, storage and peripherals, limited by the connected device and cable.

What physical space does the Corsair 4000D case provide for additional drives?

The case includes two internal 3.5-inch bays and two internal 2.5-inch bays for extra SATA SSDs or HDDs.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The AIO radiator mounts to the case fan positions with the supplied fans; the step often missed is connecting the pump header to the CPU_FAN header on the Z890 motherboard so the pump runs at full speed.
