Built for 24-Core AI Workloads

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD support rendering, modelling and AI learning tasks. Windows 11 Pro is installed on a tower chassis cooled by a 360 mm liquid cooler.

Z890 Platform Connectivity Limits

The Gigabyte Z890 Eagle motherboard provides one USB4 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports at the rear. Internal headers add one USB Type-C and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 connections. Networking uses 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 802.11be wireless with Bluetooth 5.4.

32 GB GPU Memory Decides Fit

The RTX 5090 ships with 32 GB of video memory, which determines whether large models and high-resolution textures fit in local memory. System memory can be expanded to 192 GB across four DDR5 slots. Storage includes a 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache alongside the primary NVMe drive.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 64 GB DDR5 configuration or upgrade to the 192 GB maximum?

The system ships with 64 GB of DDR5 installed across four slots. The motherboard supports up to 192 GB, so you can add more modules later if your rendering or AI workloads need extra capacity.

What does the 5.70 GHz boost clock on the 24-core Ultra 9 285K mean for actual editing performance?

The 24-core CPU can reach 5.70 GHz on lightly threaded tasks, giving snappy timeline scrubbing and fast single-core effects, while all 24 cores handle heavy multi-threaded exports and model training without thermal throttling thanks to the 360 mm liquid cooler.

How fast is the Wi-Fi 7 connection in practice?

The integrated Wi-Fi 7 2x2 radio supports the 802.11be standard, delivering multi-gigabit wireless throughput and low latency for cloud asset sync or remote desktop sessions when a wired 2.5 Gbps Ethernet link is not available.
