Workstation CPU and graphics

This desktop pairs a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU carrying 24 GB of memory. It targets engineers and researchers running SolidWorks modelling or AI learning workloads that demand both strong single-thread speed and professional graphics drivers.

Liquid cooling and quiet power

A 240 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while the Antec P10 FLUX case adds sound-dampening panels and a 140 mm PSU fan. The Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply delivers stable power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection.

Connectivity and expansion headroom

The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides two USB4 40 Gbps Type-C ports, one USB 10 Gbps port, three USB 5 Gbps ports, four USB 2.0 ports and Intel 2.5G Ethernet plus Wi-Fi 7. Four M.2 slots and multiple SATA ports leave room for additional NVMe or SATA drives beyond the included 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO and 10 TB HDD.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 mm liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator with tubes at the bottom or side, connect the pump header to CPU_FAN, then fill the loop and bleed air by tilting the case; skipping the bleed leaves gurgling and high temps.

Which component will need replacement first under heavy workloads?

The 850 W Bronze PSU electrolytic capacitors age fastest; plan a swap after several years of sustained 24/7 compute to avoid rail instability.

What thermal limit appears first during extended all-core rendering?

The 240 mm radiator surface area saturates before the CPU hits 5.4 GHz boost, so coolant temperature plateaus and clocks throttle to maintain safe package temps.
