Ryzen 5 9600X liquid cooled desktop

This Adamant Custom gaming desktop pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor with a 240 mm liquid cooler and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Pro on a 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and adds a 10 TB hard drive for bulk storage. The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides USB4, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Suits creators needing quiet 128 GB DDR5 workstation

The 128 GB DDR5 configuration and low-noise liquid cooling suit video editors, 3D artists and developers who need large memory capacity without fan noise. Buyers who want more storage bays than the two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal slots should look at larger chassis options. The 750 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply limits future GPU upgrades to cards within a similar power envelope.

4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe boot drive

The system boot drive is a 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link. This capacity and speed combination determines how quickly large project files load and how much active data fits on the fastest tier. The additional 10 TB hard drive handles archival storage separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 mm liquid cooler on the AM5 socket, and which step is most often missed?

Mount the AM5 retention bracket supplied with the cooler, apply thermal paste, secure the cold plate, then connect the pump header and both fan headers to the motherboard — the step most often missed is plugging in the second fan header so both 120 mm fans run.

What maintenance will the 240 mm liquid cooler and the 10 TB hard drive need later?

The sealed 240 mm loop requires no refill; only dust the radiator and 120 mm fans periodically. The 10 TB mechanical drive has no user-serviceable parts — keep backups current and replace the drive if SMART errors appear.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the Ryzen 5 9600X with this cooler?

The processor will reach its maximum operating temperature and reduce boost clocks before the 240 mm radiator can dissipate the full package power, so sustained all-core speeds settle below the single-core peak.
