Core Hardware

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. A 240mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and runs on a 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply.

Fit & Alternatives

Creators and professionals who need 128GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe boot drive alongside a 10TB mechanical store will find the spec aligned. Buyers who want more graphics memory or a second GPU slot should look elsewhere. The four memory slots are fully populated, so further RAM expansion requires module replacement.

Deciding Specification

The 128GB DDR5 capacity is the single figure that determines suitability. It supports memory-intensive workloads such as large-dataset analysis, virtualisation or heavy content creation without paging. If your workflow stays below 64GB, a smaller kit would cost less while leaving upgrade headroom on the motherboard.

Questions about this item

Does the 128GB DDR5 memory fill all four slots or leave room for an upgrade to 192GB?

The 128GB DDR5 kit occupies the four available slots, so reaching the 192GB maximum would require replacing the installed modules with higher-capacity ones.

Should I choose the 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe or the 10TB HDD for my operating system and active projects?

Use the 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe with read speeds up to 7450 MB/s for the OS and active workloads; the 10TB HDD with 256MB cache is suited for bulk storage and archives.

Will the RTX 5080 16GB fit in the Corsair 4000D case and run from the 1000W 80 PLUS Gold PSU?

Yes, the GPU connects via the PCI Express x16 slot on the PRIME X870-P motherboard and the 1000W power supply provides the necessary connectors and headroom for the RTX 5080 16GB.
