Custom workstation desktop

The Adamant Custom system pairs a six-core Ryzen 5 9600X processor with a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for professional media work and high-end gaming. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD provide fast throughput for large project files. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and ready for business use.

Liquid cooling and connectivity

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU quiet under sustained loads inside an Antec P20 mid-tower case with tempered glass panels. The motherboard rear I/O supplies two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, one USB 10Gbps port, three USB 5Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports alongside Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 wireless. Front-panel access adds two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and audio jacks. A 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply with Japanese capacitors delivers stable power.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that the AM5 motherboard form factor fits your intended workspace and that the 469mm case depth suits your desk layout. The four DDR5 slots support up to 192GB total if you plan to expand memory later. Internal drive bays include two 3.5/2.5-inch and two 2.5-inch positions for additional SATA storage. Ensure your monitor cables match the RTX 5090 display outputs before ordering.

Questions about this item

What PCI Express generation does the RTX 5090's x16 slot run at, and what throughput ceiling does that impose?

The motherboard provides a PCI Express 4.0 x16 link, so the GPU is limited to the 4.0 bandwidth ceiling rather than 5.0 speeds.

What are the case dimensions and motherboard form-factor limit for this build?

The Antec P20 measures 469 x 220 x 490 mm and accepts E-ATX boards up to the X870-P's ATX footprint.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted, and which step do builders often miss?

The AIO radiator screws to the front 120 mm fan positions with fans in push configuration; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it on the CPU.
