Workstation for CAD and AI

This business desktop pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU and 128GB DDR5 memory. It targets engineers and researchers who need certified drivers for SolidWorks modelling and local AI learning workloads. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

GPU with 32GB frame buffer

The RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell provides 32GB of video memory on a PCI Express x16 link. That capacity decides whether large assemblies or training batches fit entirely on the card without spilling to system RAM.

Liquid-cooled AM5 platform

A 240mm AIO cools the CPU inside an Antec P20 mid-tower with 3 x 120mm front fans and dust filters on three sides. The PRIME X870-P motherboard adds 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, four M.2 slots and rear USB4 ports. A 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and 10TB HDD handle active projects and archival storage. An 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU powers the build. Monitor not included.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.9 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 5 9600X mean for sustained workloads?

The 6-core processor runs at 3.9 GHz base and can boost up to 5.4 GHz across its 12 threads, with 32 MB L3 cache to keep large CAD assemblies and AI datasets fed during long renders.

How does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell in this build?

The GPU connects through a full PCI Express x16 link on the X870 motherboard, so the 32 GB card can move frame-buffer and compute data at the lane width the silicon expects without a bottleneck.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and Antec P20 case clear the motherboard and GPU together?

Yes — the 240 mm AIO mounts in the P20 mid-tower (469 x 220 x 490 mm) alongside the PRIME X870-P ATX board and the RTX PRO 4500, with front 120 mm fans and dust filters maintaining airflow.
