Liquid-cooled workstation desktop

This desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X with a 240 mm liquid cooler and 128 GB of DDR5 memory. A 2 TB NVMe drive and a 10 TB hard drive sit inside a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass case powered by a 750 W Bronze supply. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Suits creators needing high core counts

The 16-thread CPU and 128 GB RAM handle multi-app workloads and large media libraries. Builders who require more than 192 GB of memory or a second graphics card should look at a platform with additional slots and PCIe lanes.

2 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD capacity

The Samsung 990 PRO delivers up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active projects. The 10 TB mechanical drive provides deep archival space. When the NVMe fills, active-set performance drops to the hard-drive tier.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket must my existing AM5 cooler match to fit this Ryzen 7 9700X?

The CPU uses the AM5 socket, so any cooler you keep must list AM5 mounting hardware.

Will my older SATA 6Gb/s hard drives work with the PRIME X870-P motherboard inside?

Yes, the board provides two SATA 6Gb/s ports for legacy drives.

How can I confirm the Samsung 990 PRO is running at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds after setup?

Check the drive benchmark in Windows; sequential reads near 7450 MB/sec and writes near 6900 MB/sec show full x4 operation.
