Built for multi-threaded workloads

This new mid-tower workstation ships with an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor, 128GB DDR5 memory and a 240mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 4TB NVMe drive, while a 10TB hard drive provides bulk storage. Integrated Radeon graphics drive displays through HDMI and two USB4 ports.

Suits memory-heavy tasks.

The configuration fits developers, analysts and creators who need large RAM capacity and fast PCIe 4.0 storage for compilation, virtualisation or data processing. Buyers who require a discrete graphics card for hardware-accelerated rendering, compute or high-refresh gaming should look at a different system.

128GB DDR5 across four slots defines capacity

The board populates all four DIMM slots with high-performance DDR5 modules, reaching the 128GB total. Maximum supported memory is 192GB, so any future expansion would require replacing existing sticks rather than adding to empty slots.

Questions about this item

How often should the liquid in the 240mm AIO cooler be checked or replaced?

The sealed 240mm Quiet Edition AIO is maintenance-free for its service life; no user refill or fluid change is required.

What thermal ceiling will the Ryzen 7 9700X hit first during an all-day compile workload?

The CPU tops out at 5.50 GHz boost; under sustained load the 240mm AIO and case airflow keep it below its thermal throttle point.

How loud does the system get when the 750W PSU and case fans run continuously?

The Thermaltake Smart 750W uses a 140mm ultra-quiet fan, and the Antec P10 FLUX includes sound-dampening panels for low noise.
