Ryzen 7 9700X workstation

This desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor with 32GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell graphics card. It targets engineers, creators and researchers who need strong single-thread speed and 32GB of GPU memory for SolidWorks modelling or local AI training. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Antec P10 FLUX silent chassis

The mid-tower case uses sound-dampening panels and a 240mm liquid cooler to keep the CPU quiet under load. Front, rear and PSU-shroud fans move air through filtered intakes while a fan-control button lets you balance noise and thermals without software. Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type-C ports at 40Gbps, one USB 10Gbps port, three USB 5Gbps ports, four USB 2.0 ports and Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi 7.

Samsung 990 PRO plus 10TB HDD

A 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active projects, while a 10TB mechanical drive with 256MB cache stores large datasets and backups. Four M.2 slots on the PRIME X870-P motherboard allow future storage expansion. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply includes Japanese main capacitors and protections for over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the PCI Express x16 slot provide for the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell?

The motherboard runs a PCI Express x16 link so the GPU can use the full 16-lane path. No other slot shares those lanes, so the card is not bottlenecked by the interface.

What clearance does the Antec P10 FLUX case give for the 240 mm liquid cooler and the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell?

The mid-tower fits a 240 mm radiator at the front or top and accepts graphics cards up to the length of the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell. Two 120 mm front fans and one 120 mm rear fan are pre-installed.

Which BIOS setting enables the Samsung 990 PRO to run at PCIe 4.0 x4 instead of falling back to PCIe 3.0?

Enter BIOS, open the Advanced NVMe Configuration menu and set the M.2 slot to Gen 4 / Auto. Save and exit; the drive will then report 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes.
