Eight-Core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X Workstation

This desktop targets professionals who need a liquid-cooled AMD Ryzen 7 9700X with 8 cores and 16 threads for multi-threaded workloads. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe drive for fast project access. A 10TB hard drive adds bulk storage for archives. The Nvidia RTX A400 provides four Mini DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Sustained Load Behaviour With 240mm Liquid Cooling

The 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU near its 5.50 GHz boost during long renders or simulations without the noise spikes of air cooling. The 750W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers stable current through extended sessions. Case airflow uses three front 120mm fans, one rear 120mm fan and a PSU shroud fan to move heat away from the GPU and motherboard VRMs. Sound-dampening panels reduce acoustic output under load.

Practical Limits Of PCIe 4.0 And Connectivity

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD reaches up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write within the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface ceiling. Four M.2 slots on the PRIME X870-P motherboard allow future NVMe expansion without adapting slower protocols. Rear I/O includes two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, one USB 10Gbps port, three USB 5Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports. Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 2x2 handle network traffic.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 240 mm liquid cooler and the 120 mm case fans when the Ryzen 7 9700X runs at full load all day?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the three front 120 mm fans plus rear 120 mm fan are designed for low-noise operation; the PSU adds a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, so sustained loads stay quiet.

Which display cables must I already own to use the RTX A400 4GB 4xMiniDP?

The GPU provides four Mini DisplayPort outputs, so you need Mini DisplayPort cables or Mini DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort/HDMI adapters for each monitor you plan to connect.

Will my existing SATA SSDs or 3.5" hard drives fit inside the Antec P10 FLUX case alongside the 10 TB drive?

The case has three internal 3.5" bays and three 2.5" bays; one 3.5" bay holds the 10 TB drive, leaving two 3.5" and three 2.5" bays free for extra SATA drives.
