Ready-to-Game Desktop

The Adamant Custom gaming PC ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and a liquid-cooled Ryzen 7 9700X processor. An RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB memory and 32GB of DDR5 RAM handle modern titles at high settings. A 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides fast boot and load times.

Step Up From Mid-Range

This system replaces an older rig limited to 16GB memory or a previous-generation GPU. The jump is worth it when you need 8 cores at up to 5.50 GHz and PCIe 4.0 storage speeds of 7450 MB/s read. Builders staying with 1080p monitors or entry-level cards will not use the headroom.

Build-Ready Platform

The PRIME X870-P motherboard offers four DDR5 slots supporting up to 192 GB total and four M.2 connectors for future storage. A Thermaltake 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit powers the parts with a 140mm quiet fan. The Corsair 4000D case includes 2.5Gb LAN, Wi-Fi 7, and front USB 3.2 Type-C.

Questions about this item

What depth does the Corsair 4000D case need on a desk?

The Corsair 4000D case measures 490 mm deep, so allow at least that much flat surface plus cable clearance behind it.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted and what step is often missed?

The 240 mm radiator bolts to the case roof or front with four screws; the step people forget is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it on the Ryzen 7 9700X.

Which storage slot will need a drive added first when the 1 TB SSD fills up?

The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides four M.2 connectors; one holds the Samsung 990 PRO, so the next upgrade goes into any of the three remaining M.2 slots.
