Adamant Custom Ryzen 7 9700X Gaming Desktop

This Adamant Custom desktop is a new gaming PC built around an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 32GB of video memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is installed and the system is liquid cooled.

Suits 4K gaming and AI workloads.

The configuration targets enthusiasts who need high frame rates at 4K resolution and developers running local AI models that benefit from 32GB of GPU memory. The motherboard provides four DDR5 slots supporting up to 192GB total. Buyers who require a 5.25-inch optical bay or additional 3.5-inch bays beyond the two provided should look elsewhere.

RTX 5090 32GB GPU decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB of dedicated memory. This card drives the power and cooling demands met by the 1000W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and 240mm AIO cooler. If the workload does not need that level of graphics memory or compute, a different GPU tier would be more appropriate.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 240mm liquid cooler and 140mm PSU fan when the Ryzen 7 9700X and RTX 5090 run all day?

The CPU uses a 240mm Quiet Edition AIO and the Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W Gold PSU has a 140mm ultra-quiet fan, so noise stays low even under sustained load.

Do I need to buy a monitor cable or power cord separately to use the RTX 5090 and 1000W PSU?

The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and a standard IEC power cord; you only need a display with HDMI or DisplayPort input and a suitable cable.

Can I keep my SATA SSDs or hard drives and install them alongside the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive?

Yes, the PRIME X870-P motherboard provides two SATA 6Gb/s ports and the Corsair 4000D case has two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays for additional drives.
