Purpose-built workstation

This desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics card carrying 16GB of video memory. The combination targets engineers, designers and researchers who need certified drivers for CAD, simulation and AI learning workloads. A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable during extended compute sessions.

Platform limits

The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides four DDR5 slots with a 192GB ceiling, so the installed 32GB kit can grow substantially. Primary storage sits on a PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe drive rated for 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, while a 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity. Rear I/O includes two USB4 40Gbps ports, one USB 10Gbps port, three USB 5Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports.

Deciding specification

The GPU is a 16GB RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell built for professional visualisation and compute, not for high-refresh gaming. Buyers who need more video memory or certified drivers for a broader ISV list should look at higher-tier professional cards. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply and Antec P20 mid-tower case complete a balanced, upgrade-friendly platform.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB DDR5 configuration or the 192 GB maximum capacity?

The system ships with 32 GB DDR5 installed across four slots. You can expand up to 192 GB later if your workloads demand more memory.

What does the Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz base clock deliver in daily use?

Eight cores and sixteen threads boost up to 5.50 GHz, giving strong single-thread speed for gaming and multi-thread throughput for rendering or AI tasks.

How fast is the Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB NVMe drive over PCIe 4.0?

Sequential reads reach 7450 MB/s and writes reach 6900 MB/s, so large project files and game assets load in seconds.
