Workstation desktop with RTX PRO 4000

This system pairs an 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card that carries 24GB of video memory. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU at stable temperatures during sustained compute loads. Windows 11 Pro is installed and the platform is described as AI Ready for local inference workloads.

Upgrade from consumer GPU and limited RAM

The professional graphics card replaces typical gaming GPUs with certified drivers and larger frame buffers for CAD modelling and AI learning tasks. Memory capacity of 64GB DDR5 can be expanded to 192GB using the four available slots. Dual 4TB NVMe drives deliver sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec, while a 10TB hard drive adds bulk capacity.

Suits engineers and researchers needing certified

Buyers who need ISV-certified drivers for SolidWorks or similar packages and who value a single-slot workstation GPU with 24GB VRAM will benefit. Users whose workflows demand multiple GPUs, more than 192GB of system memory, or a rack-mountable form factor should look at alternative platforms.

Questions about this item

What are the case dimensions and drive bay layout for this Corsair 4000D build?

The case measures 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high with two internal 3.5 inch bays and two 2.5 inch bays.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted and what step do builders often miss?

The 240 mm AIO radiator mounts to the case fan positions; the step often missed is orienting the tubes at the bottom of the radiator to prevent air bubbles in the pump.

Which storage drives may need replacement first and what are their specs?

The two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe SSDs and the 10 TB 256 MB cache HDD are the primary storage; SSDs typically outlast the mechanical HDD.
