Built for professional workloads

This desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 9700X with an RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPU that carries 48GB of video memory. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 system memory and a liquid-cooled CPU keep sustained compute tasks stable. The configuration targets engineers, modellers and AI researchers who need workstation-grade graphics in a standard tower.

Storage interface limits

Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s sequential read and 6900 MB/s write over PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes. The motherboard provides four M.2 connectors, so the remaining two slots can accept additional NVMe devices. A single 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache handles bulk archives on a SATA 6Gb/s port.

GPU memory decides fit

The RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell includes 48GB of on-board memory, which determines whether large models or scenes fit without off-loading to system RAM. Buyers who need more video memory must choose a different graphics card, as this GPU is not user-upgradable.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB DDR5 or plan for the 192 GB maximum?

The system ships with 32 GB DDR5 across four slots and the motherboard supports up to 192 GB, so you can start with the factory kit and add matched modules later if workloads grow.

What does the 5.50 GHz boost mean for everyday workloads?

The Ryzen 7 9700X can reach 5.50 GHz on up to eight cores, giving strong single-thread speed for CAD, AI inference and gaming when thermals allow.

How fast are the USB4 ports on the X870 motherboard?

Two rear USB4 ports run at 40 Gbps each, letting you attach high-speed NVMe enclosures or displays without a separate controller card.
