192 GB DDR5 liquid-cooled workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop combines an eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 192 GB of DDR5 memory and a 240 mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on an 8 TB NVMe array backed by a 10 TB hard drive. The system targets professionals who need large memory capacity and fast storage for simulation, rendering or data-analysis workloads.

PCIe 4.0 storage and 2.5 Gb Ethernet limits

Both 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO SSDs operate over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s. The Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 7 2x2 wireless share the same motherboard, so wired throughput cannot exceed 2.5 Gbps. Rear I/O includes two USB4 40 Gbps Type-C ports, one USB 10 Gbps port, three USB 5 Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports.

RTX 5060 8 GB graphics decides fit

The installed GeForce RTX 5060 provides 8 GB of video memory on a PCI Express x16 slot, which determines whether the machine can handle your GPU-accelerated applications. The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply and Antec P20 mid-tower case with three 120 mm front fans support this configuration. Buyers who need more video memory or multi-GPU scaling should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 192 GB DDR5 configuration or a smaller kit?

The board has four slots and the 192 GB kit fills them all, reaching the 192 GB maximum supported. Choose it if you need that capacity now; otherwise a smaller kit leaves room to add modules later.

What does the Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz base clock deliver in this build?

Eight cores and sixteen threads with 96 MB L3 cache boost up to 5.20 GHz, cooled by a 240 mm liquid cooler, giving strong multi-threaded throughput for workstation and gaming loads.

How fast are the Samsung 990 PRO drives over the PCIe 4.0 x4 link?

Each 4 TB drive reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, so the pair provides 8 TB of high-speed NVMe storage limited by the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface.
