Workstation for CAD and AI

This business desktop is built for SolidWorks modelling and AI learning workloads. The eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor runs at 4.7 GHz with a 5.20 GHz boost and 96 MB L3 cache. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU stable during extended compute sessions. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and 192 GB DDR5 memory.

GPU with 24 GB VRAM

The Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card provides 24 GB of video memory on a PCI Express x16 interface. This capacity is the deciding factor for large assemblies, simulation datasets and GPU-accelerated AI training. The card supports virtual reality workflows and connects to the PRIME X870-P motherboard. No other GPU option is described in the specifications.

Thermals and power in use

A 240 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while three 120 mm front fans and a 140 mm PSU fan move air through the Antec P20 case. Dust filters on bottom, front and top reduce particulate build-up. The Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply delivers power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Noise remains low under typical workstation loads.

Questions about this item

How does the 96 MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D help SolidWorks models in daily use?

The large cache keeps frequently accessed geometry and assembly data close to the cores, reducing latency when rotating large models or rebuilding feature trees.

What does the PCI Express x16 link mean for the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell in this build?

The card runs at full PCIe 4.0 x16 bandwidth, so GPU compute and 24 GB VRAM transfers are not bottlenecked by the bus.

Will the Antec P20 case fit the 240 mm liquid cooler and the triple-slot RTX PRO 4000 together?

Yes, the 469 mm deep mid-tower supports a 240 mm radiator up front and has clearance for full-length, triple-slot graphics cards.
