Custom workstation with 192GB DDR5

This tower system pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D running up to 5.20 GHz with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 16GB graphics card. A 240mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals while a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply feeds every component. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed on the 8TB NVMe storage array.

Suits creators who need massive RAM and GPU power

Editors, 3D artists and AI developers gain headroom from the 192GB DDR5 ceiling and the RTX 5080 frame buffer. Buyers who want more storage than two 4TB M.2 drives provide should look elsewhere. The board offers four M.2 connectors but only two are populated, leaving no factory path to exceed 8TB without removing existing modules.

192GB DDR5 is the fixed memory ceiling

The PRIME X870-P motherboard supports a maximum of 192 GB across four slots, and every slot is already filled. No further memory upgrades are possible without replacing the installed kits. This limit decides whether the workstation can hold the datasets or virtual machines you plan to run.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D from throttling during long renders?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the 8-core CPU; sustained all-core loads will run at the rated 4.7 GHz base clock with the 96 MB L3 cache intact.

How loud is the system when the RTX 5080 and CPU are both at full load for hours?

The Thermaltake 1200 W Gold PSU uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan and the AIO is a Quiet Edition model; together they keep noise low even under continuous combined load.

Does the motherboard need any extra parts to run the 192 GB DDR5 kit at full speed?

The PRIME X870-P board has four DDR5 slots and supports the 192 GB maximum natively; no additional modules or adapters are required.
