Workstation for CAD and AI

The Adamant Custom business desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a two-terabyte NVMe drive support SolidWorks modelling and AI learning workloads. A ten-terabyte hard drive adds bulk storage for large project archives.

Liquid cooling and 850 W supply

A 240 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while the Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze unit delivers stable power with a 140 mm low-noise fan. Front and rear 120 mm RGB fans move air through the Pop Air RGB tempered-glass chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit installed.

Expandable ATX platform

The TUF X870-PLUS motherboard provides four M.2 slots, two SATA ports and multiple internal drive bays for future storage growth. Rear I/O includes two USB4 ports, three 10 Gbps ports, four 5 Gbps ports and one 2.0 port alongside 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7. Builders needing more than 192 GB of memory or a second graphics card should consider a larger chassis.

Questions about this item

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler installed, and what step is often missed?

The cooler mounts to the AM5 socket using the supplied bracket; the step people miss is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before securing the pump block.

Which component will need replacement first under heavy workloads?

The 850 W PSU’s 140 mm fan is the only moving part rated for continuous duty; plan to swap it once bearing noise appears.

What thermal limit appears first during sustained all-core loads?

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D hits its 96 MB L3 cache thermal ceiling before the 240 mm AIO can dissipate the full 5.20 GHz boost.
