Purpose-built workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs an 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 32GB DDR5, a 4TB NVMe boot drive and a 10TB hard drive. The RTX A400 adds four Mini DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor workflows. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed on the NVMe volume.

Bundled software and storage layout

The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO serves as the OS and application drive with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. The 10TB mechanical drive provides bulk capacity for project archives. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is ready to run without further licensing steps.

Installation notes and common pitfalls

The 240mm AIO cooler arrives pre-filled and mounted; only the radiator fans need connecting to the motherboard headers. The Antec P20 case offers front USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and USB 3.0 ports that require matching headers on the PRIME X870-P board. Builders who need more than four display outputs or a second GPU should plan for a larger chassis.

Questions about this item

When will the 240 mm liquid cooler need its coolant refreshed or the pump replaced?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit with no user-serviceable coolant; plan to replace the whole cooler if pump noise or CPU temperatures rise after several years of continuous operation.

What thermal limit will the Ryzen 7 9800X3D hit first during an all-day render at 5.20 GHz boost?

The 8-core CPU will reach its maximum junction temperature before the 240 mm radiator saturates, so sustained clocks will throttle once the 96 MB L3 cache and core complex hit their thermal ceiling.

How loud is the 140 mm PSU fan and the three 120 mm case fans when the 850 W supply runs at 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency all day?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W unit uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan alongside three front 120 mm fans; combined airflow keeps the chassis near silent at typical workstation loads.
