Ready-to-game desktop

This desktop ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and an eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor reaching 4.7 GHz with a 5.20 GHz boost. A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU quiet under load. The RTX 5060 Ti graphics card brings 8 GB of video memory for 1440p gaming.

PCIe 4.0 storage ceiling

The 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO drive uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, so sequential reads stop at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s. The motherboard provides four M.2 slots, yet only the primary slot runs at full 4.0 speed. Additional drives will share bandwidth with the chipset.

Front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C

A single front Type-C port delivers 20 Gbps, while two USB 3.0 ports and twin audio jacks handle everyday peripherals. Inside, two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays let the 10 TB hard drive coexist with extra SSDs. The 850 W bronze PSU uses a 140 mm fan and Japanese capacitors.

Questions about this item

Should I keep the 32 GB DDR5 or upgrade toward the 192 GB maximum?

The board has four slots and supports up to 192 GB, so the installed 32 GB leaves three slots free for future expansion if your workloads demand more memory.

What does the Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz base clock deliver in everyday gaming?

Eight cores with 96 MB L3 cache and a boost up to 5.20 GHz give strong single-thread speed and low latency for high-frame-rate gaming at 1080p and 1440p.

How fast is the Samsung 990 PRO 2 TB NVMe over the PCIe 4.0 x4 link?

Sequential reads reach 7450 MB/s and writes 6900 MB/s, so game loads and large file transfers run at the full speed the interface allows.
