Liquid-cooled gaming desktop

This tower system pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card and 32GB DDR5 memory. A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU at stable temperatures while the CoolerMaster HAF 500 case provides high airflow. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the build is marketed as AI ready.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 240mm quiet-edition AIO and case-mounted 200mm front fans move air continuously across the CPU and GPU during long sessions. Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers steady output with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Liquid cooling reduces thermal throttling risk compared to air-only designs.

8TB NVMe storage capacity

Two Samsung 990 PRO 4TB drives combine for 8TB of PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. Four M.2 slots on the TUF X870-PLUS motherboard allow future expansion up to the platform limit. Buyers who need more than 8TB of fast storage must add drives themselves.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 240 mm liquid cooler and the case fans run when the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is under sustained load?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the Cooler Master HAF 500 case with front 200 mm ARGB fans plus rear and GPU 120 mm fans are designed for low-noise operation; the Thermaltake 850 W PSU also uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need to use the Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB graphics card?

The GPU connects via PCI Express x16 and provides standard modern display outputs; you will need a monitor with compatible DisplayPort or HDMI inputs and the matching cables.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs or hard drives and install them alongside the two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 drives?

Yes, the TUF X870-PLUS motherboard includes two SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case has two internal 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays for additional SATA storage.
