Workstation for CAD and AI

This desktop is built for engineers and researchers running SolidWorks modelling and AI learning workloads. The eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and 64GB DDR5 memory deliver the compute density these tasks demand. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and liquid cooling for sustained operation. Buyers needing more than 192GB total memory capacity should look elsewhere.

24GB RTX PRO 4000 GPU

The single specification that decides fit is the Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card with 24GB VRAM. This professional GPU connects via PCI Express x16 and supports VR workflows alongside rendering and simulation. Workloads requiring different VRAM amounts or consumer GeForce drivers will not match this configuration.

Liquid cooling with 850W supply

A 240mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while a Thermaltake 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit powers the system. The Antec P20 case uses three 120mm front fans and dust filters on bottom, front and top for airflow management. Noise stays low under typical workstation loads.

Questions about this item

What does the Ryzen 7 9800X3D's 4.7 GHz base clock mean for daily SolidWorks assemblies?

The 8-core CPU runs at 4.7 GHz base and can boost to 5.20 GHz, giving strong single-thread speed for interactive modelling while 16 threads handle background renders.

How does the PCI Express x16 link affect the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell's 24 GB VRAM in large datasets?

The x16 slot delivers full bandwidth so the 24 GB frame buffer feeds the GPU without throttling, keeping viewport navigation smooth on complex scenes.

Will the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO and 10 TB HDD both fit inside the Antec P20 case?

Yes — the case provides four M.2 slots for NVMe drives and two 3.5-inch bays, so the 4 TB SSD and 10 TB hard drive install together.
