Built for professional workloads

This business desktop combines an eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX A400 graphics card. It targets engineers, analysts and creators who need reliable multi-threaded performance and professional driver support. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and is described as AI Ready for local inference tasks.

Storage and connectivity limits

The boot volume uses two 4TB NVMe drives in a PCIe 4.0 x4 configuration, delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A single 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache provides bulk capacity. Network access relies on 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7, while rear I/O includes USB4 at 40Gbps, 10Gbps and 5Gbps ports. The motherboard offers four M.2 slots in total.

Straightforward deployment

The pre-assembled tower arrives with a 240mm liquid cooler already mounted and an 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply installed. Mini DisplayPort outputs on the RTX A400 require adapters for standard DisplayPort or HDMI monitors. Builders should verify that the Antec P20 case dimensions suit their desk space and that the front-panel USB Type-C header matches their peripheral needs.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 8TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD or a single larger NVMe?

The system ships with two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 8TB and a separate 10TB HDD. Keep the NVMe for active projects and the HDD for archives, or add a third M.2 drive later.

What does the Ryzen 7 9800X3D's 4.7GHz base clock mean for daily workloads?

The 8-core CPU runs at 4.7GHz base and can boost to 5.20GHz with 96MB L3 cache, giving strong single-thread speed for CAD, compile and simulation tasks.

How fast are the M.2 slots on the PRIME X870-P motherboard?

Four M.2 connectors run at PCIe 4.0x4, so each Samsung 990 PRO can deliver up to 7450MB/s read and 6900MB/s write.
