What this desktop delivers

The Adamant Custom gaming desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 64GB DDR5 memory and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card. Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives provide 8TB NVMe storage. A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. It targets creators and gamers who need high single-thread speed and large fast storage in one box.

Limits of the PCI Express 4.0 and Wi-Fi 7 links

The SSD array runs on PCI Express 4.0 x4 lanes, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/sec and writes at 6900 MB/sec. The motherboard supplies four M.2 connectors, so no further NVMe drives can be added without removing one. Wi-Fi 7 2x2 and Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet share the rear I/O alongside USB4 40Gbps, USB 10Gbps and USB 5Gbps ports. Bandwidth-hungry peripherals must fit within those fixed lanes.

Installing in the CoolerMaster HAF 500 tower

The case measures 508 x 203 x 508 mm and ships with front 200mm ARGB fans, a rear 120mm ARGB fan and a 120mm GPU fan. Internal bays include two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch slots, but the 850W Thermaltake Smart PSU and 240mm radiator occupy significant space. Long graphics cards may need careful routing. Builders should verify cooler clearance and cable length before adding more drives or expansion cards.
