Adamant Custom Ryzen 7 9800X3D Gaming PC

This desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 128GB DDR5 memory and integrated AMD Radeon graphics. A 240mm liquid cooler manages thermals inside an Antec P20 mid-tower case. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes Wi-Fi 7 plus Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

Upgrade from integrated-only or older AM4 builds

The CPU reaches up to 5.20 GHz with 96 MB L3 cache, delivering strong single-thread speed for compile workloads and high-frame-rate gaming at 1080p. Dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives provide 8TB NVMe storage at up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. A 10TB HDD adds bulk capacity for media libraries.

Sustained load behaviour with liquid cooling

The 240mm AIO and case airflow keep temperatures stable during extended rendering or simulation runs. An 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU with a 140mm fan supplies consistent power without acoustic spikes. Memory operates at 128GB across four slots, leaving headroom to the 192 GB maximum supported by the X870 motherboard.

Questions about this item

What motherboard form factor and maximum CPU-cooler radiator length does the Antec P20 case support?

The Antec P20 mid-tower accepts ATX and E-ATX boards and fits a 240 mm liquid-cooler radiator, which matches the included 240 mm AIO.

How is the 240 mm AIO mounted, and which step do builders often miss?

Screw the radiator to the top or front panel with the four included fans, then connect the pump header to the motherboard CPU_FAN connector so the pump runs at full speed.

Which storage drives will need replacement first and what are their capacities?

The two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs and the 10 TB HDD are the only drives; SSDs typically outlast the HDD, so plan to replace the 10 TB mechanical drive first.
