Build Purpose

This desktop pairs an 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 64GB DDR5 and integrated Radeon graphics. It targets users who need strong single-thread throughput and large local storage for compilation, simulation or content pipelines without a discrete GPU. Buyers who require dedicated ray-tracing hardware or multi-GPU compute should look elsewhere.

Installation Notes

The 240mm AIO arrives pre-filled and mounted to the AM5 socket; only the radiator fans need positioning in the North case. Front-panel connectors use standard headers, and the X870-PLUS board exposes four M.2 slots for future NVMe expansion. No optical bay exists, so legacy media installs need an external drive.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The liquid cooler and twin 140mm front fans keep the CPU near its 5.20 GHz boost during long renders while the 850W Bronze PSU maintains stable rails. Samsung 990 PRO sequential rates of 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write stay consistent across extended writes, and the 10TB HDD adds bulk capacity without throttling the primary volume.
