System purpose

This liquid-cooled mid-tower desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It is built for gamers and creators who want high frame rates at 1440p or 4K and fast multitasking in Windows 11 Pro.

Deciding specification

The 96 MB L3 cache on the CPU is the feature that separates this chip from standard eight-core parts. It reduces latency in cache-sensitive titles and workloads, so buyers who need that advantage should choose this configuration over a non-X3D alternative.

Build integration

The system includes a 240 mm liquid cooler, an 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply and a Cooler Master HAF 500 case with front 200 mm ARGB fans. The X870 motherboard adds Wi-Fi 7, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and four M.2 slots, leaving three NVMe bays free for future expansion.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.7 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D mean for actual gaming performance?

The processor runs at 4.7 GHz out of the box and can boost up to 5.20 GHz across its 8 cores and 16 threads, with 96 MB of L3 cache keeping frame rates high in CPU-heavy titles.

How fast is the PCI Express x16 link feeding the RTX 5070 Ti 16GB?

The motherboard provides a full PCI Express x16 slot wired to the CPU, so the RTX 5070 Ti 16GB operates at its native lane width without bottlenecking.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and CoolerMaster HAF 500 case fit together without clearance issues?

Yes — the 240 mm AIO mounts in the HAF 500 which measures 508 x 203 x 508 mm and supports 200 mm front fans plus a 120 mm rear fan, leaving ample room for the radiator.
