Liquid-cooled Ryzen 9800X3D desktop

This gaming desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a one-terabyte NVMe SSD provide fast access to games and applications. A ten-terabyte hard drive adds bulk storage for media libraries. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Sustained load on 240 mm AIO loop

A 240 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU heat output during extended sessions. The Thermaltake 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply delivers stable current to both the processor and the graphics card under continuous demand. The Corsair 4000D case directs airflow over the radiator and through the chassis to keep component temperatures steady.

PCIe 4.0 and USB4 connectivity limits

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD operates on a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, capping sequential throughput at the drive's rated speeds. The PRIME X870-P motherboard exposes two USB4 ports at forty gigabits per second alongside additional USB 10 Gbps and USB 5 Gbps connections. Network access relies on Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 wireless.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the 240 mm liquid CPU cooler and 140 mm PSU fan run during all-day sessions?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the 140 mm PSU fan are both specified as ultra-quiet, keeping noise low while the liquid loop handles the Ryzen 7 9800X3D heat under sustained load.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need to use the RTX 5090 32 GB?

The RTX 5090 connects via PCI Express x16 and outputs through its own DisplayPort and HDMI ports, so you need a monitor with matching inputs and the appropriate cables.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5-inch hard drives fit inside the Corsair 4000D case alongside the 10 TB drive?

The case provides two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays, and the motherboard has two SATA 6 Gb/s ports, so additional SATA drives can be installed.
