Workstation with Ryzen 7 9800X3D

This business desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D running up to 5.20 GHz with 96 MB L3 cache and 32 GB of DDR5 memory. It is built for professionals who need strong single-thread speed and multi-thread throughput in a liquid-cooled chassis running Windows 11 Pro.

GPU choice: Nvidia RTX A400 4 GB

The system ships with an Nvidia RTX A400 graphics card equipped with 4 GB of VRAM and four Mini DisplayPort outputs. Buyers who need more video memory or additional display connectors for multi-monitor arrays will find this card limiting.

Standard ATX build in Corsair 4000D

The TUF X870-PLUS motherboard and 240 mm AIO fit the Corsair 4000D case using regular ATX mounting points. Installers should verify that the 850 W PSU cables reach all connectors and that the four Mini DisplayPort cables are routed before the side panel is closed.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.7 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D mean for daily workstation tasks?

The 8-core CPU runs at 4.7 GHz base with a 5.20 GHz boost and 96 MB L3 cache, giving strong single-thread speed for CAD, compilation and large spreadsheet recalculation while the 16 threads handle parallel renders or VMs.

How does the PCI Express 4.0 x4 link on the Samsung 990 PRO SSD limit real-world throughput?

The drive is rated at 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write on a PCIe 4.0 x4 lane; the motherboard's M.2 slots support that standard, so the SSD can reach its quoted sequential speeds.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and RTX A400 fit in the Corsair 4000D case without blocking drive bays?

The 240 mm AIO mounts in the case and the RTX A400 is a compact card; the chassis provides two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays, so both the 10 TB HDD and 4 TB NVMe SSD install without interference.
