Workstation for CAD and AI Learning

This business desktop is built for SolidWorks modelling and AI training workloads. A 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X processor and 192 GB of DDR5 memory handle large assemblies and data sets. The Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card adds 24 GB of VRAM for GPU-accelerated tasks. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed.

Suits simulation engineers.

Engineers running multi-physics simulations or local LLM inference gain from the high core count and large unified memory. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU stable under sustained load. Buyers who need a portable workstation or a chassis with room for multiple full-size graphics cards should consider a different form factor.

192 GB DDR5 maximum memory supported

The motherboard caps system memory at 192 GB, so this configuration already reaches the platform limit. Any workflow requiring more RAM will need a different socket or chipset. The 2 TB NVMe drive and 10 TB HDD provide fast active storage plus deep archival capacity within the same box.

Questions about this item

Do I need to supply my own display for this workstation?

The system ships without a monitor; you will need to connect a display via the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU outputs.

Can I keep using my existing SATA SSDs or hard drives alongside the 2TB NVMe and 10TB HDD?

The X870-PLUS TUF motherboard provides two SATA 6Gb/s ports and four M.2 connectors, so additional SATA or NVMe drives can be installed.

How can I verify the liquid cooler is running after first boot?

Check fan speed in BIOS or the Thermaltake software; the 240mm AIO pump and 140mm radiator fan should report RPM once Windows 11 Pro loads.
