System role

This desktop pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with an RTX 5080 graphics card, 128GB DDR5 memory, a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive. It targets professionals who need local AI training, 3D rendering and high-resolution video editing in a single workstation.

Bundled impact

The 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained multi-core loads. The 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply delivers clean power to the GPU and all drives. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and the motherboard adds dual USB4 ports at 40Gbps plus Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet for fast peripheral and network connectivity.

Interface limits

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD reaches 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, so it will not saturate a PCIe 5.0 slot. The GPU connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, and the four M.2 connectors share bandwidth with other chipset devices, which can reduce peak throughput when multiple drives are active.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler need refilling or pump replacement during the life of the PC?

The 240 mm AIO is a sealed unit; no refilling is required and the pump is rated for continuous operation under the 12-core 4.4 GHz Ryzen 9 9900X3D load.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first when the RTX 5080 and 12-core CPU run flat-out?

The 1000 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and the 240 mm AIO are sized for the combined draw of the RTX 5080 16 GB and the 12-core CPU at up to 5.50 GHz, so neither throttle under sustained load.

How loud does the system get when the 140 mm PSU fan and three 120 mm case fans run all day?

The PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan and the front 120 mm fans operate at low speed, keeping noise minimal during extended workstation or gaming sessions.
