Core specification

The twelve-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D runs at 4.4 GHz with 128 MB of L3 cache and can boost to 5.50 GHz, giving strong single-thread speed for gaming and heavy multi-thread throughput for workstation tasks. The 240 mm liquid cooler keeps thermals in check under sustained load.

Who this suits and who it does not

Creators and engineers who need high core counts, fast DDR5 memory and a proven PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive will benefit immediately. Buyers who want more than 32 GB of RAM out of the box or who require a GPU with more than 8 GB of video memory should look at a different configuration.

The deciding specification

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti ships with 8 GB of VRAM on a PCI Express x16 link, which limits texture capacity at 4K and in VRAM-heavy professional workloads; if your pipeline needs larger frame buffers this is not the right graphics card.

Questions about this item

Does the AM5 motherboard and 240 mm liquid cooler leave room for my existing PCIe 4.0 add-in cards?

The PRIME X870-P board provides a PCI Express x16 slot for the RTX 5060 Ti and additional PCIe lanes for other cards; the 240 mm AIO mounts in the Corsair 4000D without blocking standard expansion slots.

How can I confirm the Ryzen 9 9900X3D is hitting its 5.50 GHz boost and the Samsung 990 PRO is delivering 7450 MB/s reads?

Use Windows Task Manager or HWMonitor to watch the CPU clock reach 5.50 GHz under load, and run CrystalDiskMark to verify sequential reads near 7450 MB/s and writes near 6900 MB/s on the 2 TB NVMe drive.

Which cables and accessories ship inside the Corsair 4000D case, and what must I provide myself?

The system arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Pro installed, the 850 W PSU cables routed, and the 240 mm AIO filled; you only need to supply a monitor, keyboard, mouse and network cable or Wi-Fi 7 router.
