Adamant Custom Ryzen 9 9900X3D RTX 5080 Workstation

This tower desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with 192GB of DDR5 memory and dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO solid-state drives in a Cooler Master HAF 500 case. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Professionals running modelling, rendering or AI workloads benefit from the 128 MB L3 cache and high memory capacity. Buyers needing internal 3.5-inch drive bays beyond the two provided should consider other configurations. Systems requiring more than 192GB of RAM or a second graphics card are not supported by this motherboard.

The specification that decides fit

The CPU reaches a maximum boost frequency of 5.50 GHz across 12 cores and 24 threads. This clock speed combined with the large cache determines single-thread and multi-thread throughput for compute-heavy tasks. If your software scales past 24 threads, this processor will become the bottleneck.

Questions about this item

What does the 5.50 GHz boost on the Ryzen 9 9900X3D mean for heavy rendering workloads?

The 12-core CPU can reach 5.50 GHz with 128 MB L3 cache, letting sustained all-core renders finish faster than at the 4.4 GHz base clock.

How fast can the Samsung 990 PRO SSDs actually move data over the PCIe 4.0 x4 link?

Each 4 TB drive is rated for 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes, so the pair delivers that throughput in real transfers.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and case fans fit inside the CoolerMaster HAF 500 tower?

Yes — the case measures 508 x 203 x 508 mm and ships with front 200 mm fans, rear 120 mm fan and a 120 mm GPU fan, leaving room for the 240 mm AIO.
