Built for 12-core AI workstations

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a liquid-cooled AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory, a 2 TB NVMe boot drive and a 10 TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the system.

PCIe 4.0 x4 and 40 Gbps USB4 ceiling

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD runs over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, so sequential throughput tops out at the drive’s rated 7 450 MB/s read and 6 900 MB/s write. Rear-panel USB4 ports deliver 40 Gbps bandwidth, while the 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 radio share the motherboard’s PCIe lanes.

12 cores and 128 MB L3 cache decide fit

The Ryzen 9 9900X3D provides 12 cores, 24 threads and a 128 MB L3 cache with a 5.50 GHz boost ceiling. That cache depth is the single specification that determines whether the processor matches workloads needing large on-chip data sets.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2 TB NVMe or the 10 TB HDD for my main games?

Use the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe for the OS and active titles — its 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write cut load times sharply. Keep the 10 TB hard drive for media archives and backups.

What does the 5.50 GHz boost on the Ryzen 9 9900X3D actually deliver in daily work?

The 12-core CPU hits 5.50 GHz on light threads for snappy app launches, while the 128 MB L3 cache keeps 4K gaming frame rates steady under the 240 mm liquid cooler.

Which USB ports on the PRIME X870-P board run at 40 Gbps?

The two rear USB4 Type-C ports provide 40 Gbps each; the remaining rear ports are 10 Gbps, 5 Gbps and 2.0, while internal headers add more 10 Gbps and 5 Gbps connections.
